Orion Vision Drones was conceived by Orion Theel. With his father, Coast Guard Veteran Jonathan Theel, they launched Orion Vision Drones in 2025.

After 30 years of serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, 10 moves, and 8 states, Jon and his family decided it was time to move back home, to South Dakota.

While exploring possibilities, Jon and Orion realized Orion Vision Drones enables them to continue serving their community by supporting agriculture with cutting-edge technology.
